Wednesday, September 8

10:00 a.m., Everett: EDA Staffing, the on-site staffing agency for a manufacturing company in Wilmington, will be at Career Source in Everett to recruit for Wafer Fab/Laser Trim Operators. Positions are long-term temp-to-hire.

These positions consist of performing various functions in fabrication in a cleanroom environment. Day and night shifts are available.

Requirements for these positions:

High school diploma or GED
Ability to read, understand and communicate in English
Computer literacy
Fab, cleanroom or manufacturing experience preferred
Experience in the retail or restaurant industries a plus

1:00 p.m., Cambridge: Comcast will be on hand to recruit for part-time
Customer Account Executives and full-time Communication Technician positions.

Customer Account Executive - Waltham, 20 hrs/wk, 5 - 9 p.m.: involves responding to customer inquiries and billing concerns, resolving billing issues, processing payments, and promoting products and services.

*Requirements:

Two years minimum customer service experience
Ability to work in a fast-paced, sometimes stressful environment and manage upset customers
Ability to communicate billing issues
Computer literacy
High school diploma or GED
Ability to pass background check and drug screening

Communication Technician - full-time, various locations: consists of installing, reconnecting, changing and repairing customers' home video products in compliance with National Electrical Code, and helping customers understand the use of the equipment.

*Requirements:

Hands-on electrical/wiring experience, indoors and outdoors
Strong communication skills in English
Excellent customer service and sales skills
Valid driver's license and good driving record
High school diploma or GED
Ability to pass background check and drug screening
